'Kuro' is a short 2D animation concept centered around Kuro the paper dog. 

The character emerged from finding shapes in crumpled paper, and using this as a basis for the design. Further crumpled paper photocopies were used to create the backgrounds. The sound design was also entirely built from recorded paper sounds.
